Brahmani River Pellet Limited (BRPL) having a 4 MnT pa Iron Pellet plant in Jajpur (Odisha) and a 4 MnT pa Beneficiation plant in Barbil (Odisha), has concluded its first export deal.
The deal has been finalized with Stemcor, a steel trading company based in London (UK) at a price of USD 140/MT FoB.
Shipment of the material will take place in the month of October.
A vessel named MV Veresia with 50,000 tonnes of BRPL's Pellet is expected to arrive at Paradip Port on October 01.
Another vessel named Torenia with 54,500 tonnes of JSPL's Pellet, is expected to arrive at Paradip Port today.
BRPL is a wholly owned Stemcor's project and had started the trial production of its Pellet plant on July 01.
The manufacturer is currently offering Fe 64 Pellets at INR 7,250/MT (loaded into wagons) in domestic market.
