India: Billet exports rise by 15% m-o-m in Aug’21

Steel billet exports by India rose to 0.84 mn t in Aug’21, an increase of 15% in comparison with 0.72 mn t in Jul, according to data maintained by SteelMint.
China, Nepal and Indonesia were the top importing countries.
Interestingly, exports to China increased to 0.3 mn t in Aug from around 0.1 mn t in Jul.
