India: Billet export shipments drop by 22% m-o-m in Oct’20

India’s billet export shipments saw a fall of 22% in Oct’20 to reach 520,000 t. The majority of the mills have curbed their export allocations on better price realizations in the domestic market, which resulted in a drop in the export shipments. China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand stood as the predominant importers of the Indian billets.
