India: Billet export prices to Nepal up by $40/t m-o-m in a recent deal

State-owned primary mill based in southern India has concluded a billet (150*150mm, BF grade) export tender to Nepal for three rakes (around 8,100 t) at $510/t exw, (equivalent to $540-545/t CPT Nepal). Prior to this, an eastern India based primary mill had concluded a billet export deal at $485-490/t exw, equivalent to $505-510/t CPT Nepal, during Nov-end. Hence, with fresh deals, prices of blast furnace grade billets have climbed by $40/t m-o-m, SteelMint assessed.
