An eastern India based primary mill has concluded a billet/bloom (150*150mm) export deal to Nepal for a rake (2,700 t) at $550-555/t (loaded to rake), equivalent to $570/t CPT Nepal. With this fresh deal, export prices have moved up by $25-30/t. The prices rallied on account of limited availability. Prior to this, in mid-Dec, a deal for three rakes (around 8,100 t) of billet (150*150mm) was concluded by a southern India based primary plant at $510/t (loaded to rake), equivalent to $540-545/t CPT Nepal.
