A Bokaro, Jharkhand-based private mill conducted an auction for 3,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 18 Nov’21. The auction concluded at INR 40,500/t ex-plant, with the bids staying firm compared to an earlier auction for 3,000 t on 16 Nov, which had concluded at INR 40,500-40,600/t. About 2,000 t off grade pig iron was also sold at the auction at INR 40,000/t exw.
