Today, SAIL-BSL conducted pig iron auction for 2,850 t (1 rake). Entire quantity was booked at INR 28,500/t exw which is about INR 1,600t higher than the previous auction which was concluded. In another auction conducted for 4,950t from Rourkela Steel plant, entire quantity was booked at weighted price of INR 27,800/t exw, higher by INR 500/t against last auction.
