Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) held an auction today for 500 t of steel grade pig iron from its IISCO steel plant in West Bengal. SteelMint learnt from sources that buyers had booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 60,000/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 3,500/t in comparison with the previous auction held on 14 Apr’22.
