Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) held an auction for 500 t of steel grade pig iron on 3 Feb’22 from the Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) in West Bengal. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 46,700/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 5,390/t in comparison with the previous auction held on 11 Jan.
