SAIL conducted an auction today for 2,000 t of basic grade pig iron from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 46,800/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 2,770/t compared to the previous auction on 25 January. At the previous auction, 3,000 t of pig iron had been booked at INR 44,030/t exw.
