SAIL held an auction for 900 t of basic grade pig iron on 14 Jul’21 from its IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) in West Bengal. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 36,150/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 950/t ($12) compared to the previous auction on 7 Jul, which was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 35,200/t exw.
