State-owned steel producer Vizag Steel conducted an auction for 1,000 t of basic grade pig iron on 27 Dec’21. Buyers booked all the lots at a weighted average price of INR 38,900/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 1,900/t in comparison with the previous auction held on 16 Dec.
