State-owned SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) conducted an auction for 5,700 t (2,850 t x 2 rakes) basic grade pig iron on 09 Dec ’20. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted price of INR 31,200/t exw, SteelMint learned from sources. Bids increased by INR 1,700/t compared to the previous auction conducted on 02 Dec’20. Last auction for 14,250 t (2,850 t x 5 rakes) pig iron was concluded at a weighted price of INR 29,500/t exw.
