India: Bids remain stable at NMDC’s Kumaraswamy auction

At NMDC’s e-auction on 26th Oct’21 from its Kumaraswamy mines, 254,000 t of iron ore was booked out of a total of 333,000 t.

• JSW was the largest buyer at 144,000 t followed by Thakur Industries at 32,000 t.
• The iron ore lumps (Fe 60.03%) lot was booked at INR 4,300/t (basic, taxes extra), largely stable against the last auction on 5 Oct.
