Steel Authority of India (SAIL) conducted an e-auction for 72,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 60.8% ) today (i.e 29th Oct) from its Barsua mines, Odisha. Entire quantity received bids at around INR 2,270-2,280/t (loaded into rakes and excluding royalty), flat against set base price. Most of the material was bought by the West Bengal based units, sources reported SteelMint.
