SAIL conducted an auction for 2,850 t off grade pig iron (1-rake loaded) today from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. The auction received good participation as entire quantity got booked at INR 23,600/t EXW. The previous auction for the same held on 1 Jul’20 for 5,700 t quantity had also received decent response with entire quantity booked at INR 22,500/t EXW.
