Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 100,000 t of iron ore dump fines from its Bolani mines in Odisha, as per reports. The auction received bids for the entire material on offer at INR 7,530-7,540/t (loaded, including royalty, DMF, NMET and additional royalty as per MMDR Amendment Act, 2021), according to market sources. The material auctioned was Fe 60% grade, which fetched bids that ranged INR 150/t over the last auction held on 13 May’21, as per SteeMint reports.
