At OMC’s chrome ore auction today, 30,900 t was sold out of 104,600 t offered. Bid prices rose by 2-5% (INR 189-900/t) from the last auction, while premiums over base prices remained mostly steady. The uptick in prices is likely due to slightly improved market sentiment in both Indian and Chinese domestic markets.
