SAIL conducted an auction for 3,200 t off-grade pig iron yesterday from its IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), West Bengal. The auction received good response as entire material was booked at INR 26,500-26,950/t exw. The last auction conducted on 27 Jul’20 for 600 t pig iron was concluded at INR 25,050-25,450/t exw.
