Steel Authority of India (SAIL) today conducted an auction for 200,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 62.5%) from its Bolani mines in Odisha. It is reported that the entire quantity put to the auction has been booked at INR 2,940-2,950/t, loaded to wagons, taxes extra over the set base price of INR 2,250/t. Bids have increased by INR 750/t against the company’s last auction from Bolani mines held on 28 Aug’20 which received bids at INR 2,200/t.
