State-owned steel mill SAIL conducted an auction for 9,700 t (four rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 9 Jun’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand. Out of 9,700 t, buyers booked three rakes totalling 6,850 t at INR 37,500/t, exw, sources reported. Bids increased by INR 300/t compared to the previous auction conducted on 2 Jun for three rakes, which had concluded at a weighted average price of INR 37,200/t, exw, as per SteelMint reports.
