India: Bids improve by 1,100/t ($15) in SAIL’s Burnpur pig iron auction

Govt owned steel mill – SAIL conducted an auction for 2,200 t basic grade pig iron today from its IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur. The entire material got booked at INR 31,950/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. The previous auction conducted on 12th Feb fetched bids at around INR 30,850/t exw.
