India: Bids for iron ore lumps remain stable at NMDC’s latest auction from Chhattisgarh

Bids for Baila-sized iron ore lumps were stable at INR 6,860/t at NMDC Chhattisgarh’s auction today compared to 9 Dec.

Today’s auction results

Bacheli: Of 14,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%), 8,000 t sold at INR 6,860/t (base price); 30,100-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) and 107,500-t fines (Fe 64%) unsold.
Kirandul: 64,500-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) unsold.

Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, and NMET.
