NMDC had conducted an iron ore e-auction from its Kumaraswamy mines on 8 Oct’21 at which 44,000 t was booked out of the total quantity of 60,000 t put to auction. Highlights:
- JSW emerged as the largest buyer at 36,000 t followed by Arjas Steel Private Limited at 8,000 t.
- The iron ore fines (Fe 60.5%) lot was booked at INR 3,541/t (basic, taxes extra), a decline of INR 1,108-1,128/t compared to previous auction.
