State-owned SAIL conducted an auction for 4,000 t (two rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 14 Aug’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 38,225/t exw, sources reported. Bids increased by INR 3,125/t compared to the previous auction on 7 Jul for two rakes, which had concluded at a weighted average price of INR 35,100/t exw, as per SteelMint reports.
