At Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome auction today, the bigger lot (10-150 mm) secured an H1 price of INR 106,400/t exw, matching the base price. The smaller lot of same size fetched INR 107,500/t exw. Bids were on ex-plant basis with 60% Cr pro rata, excluding GST. The INR 3,800/t m-o-m decline in bids reflects subdued conditions in the domestic stainless steel market.
