SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) conducted an auction for 4,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 16 Mar’23. About 3,300 t of material was booked at INR 40,000/t exw, sources informed. Bids dropped by INR 835/t compared to the last auction conducted on 1 March at which the entire quantity of 3,000 t fetched at an average price of INR 40,835/t exw.
