At Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome auction yesterday, the larger lot of 10-150 mm secured an H1 price of INR 99,200/t ($1,143/t) exw, marginally above the base price of INR 99,000/t ($1,141/t). However, bids fell by INR 1,200/t ($14/t) compared to the 13 Jun’25 auction. This decline was primarily due to weak response in the OMC’s recent chrome ore auction and subdued stainless-steel demand.
