Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), conducted an auction for 4,400 t (60 kg and 52 kg, full length) of commercial rails on 20 Mar’24 from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh. Buyers booked around 4,000 t of 60 kg rail at an average price of INR 41,500/t exw, bids fell by INR 200/t from previous auction held on 11 March. While 400 t of 52 kg rail booked at INR 70,500/t exw.
