SAIL conducted an auction for 1,000 t off grade (basic) pig iron yesterday from its Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), West Bengal. Out of 1,000 t, buyers booked only 200 t at INR 28,025/t exw, which is a decline of INR 525/t than the previous auction conducted on 02 Sep’20. The last auction was concluded around at INR 28,550/t.
