SAIL conducted an auction on 20 Nov’21 for 6,000 t of basic grade pig iron from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 39,500/t exw, sources informed. Bid prices decreased by INR 1,480/t compared to the previous auction on 9 Nov. In another auction conducted from RSP-Rourkela buyers booked only 200 t at INR 39,650/t exw.
