Stated-owned steel producer SAIL held an auction for 5,700 t of iron scrap (with recovery rate of above 90%) on 25 Nov’21 from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Buyers booked the total quantity at a weighted average price of INR 31,050/t exw. Bid prices decreased by INR 3,160/t in comparison with the previous auction on 15 Nov.
