State-owned steel producer Vizag Steel conducted a pooled iron auction on 4 Feb’22. Buyers booked the entire quantity of 1,550 t on offer at INR 43,500/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 2,800/t compared with a previous auction on 25 Jan at which 1,800 t of pooled iron had been booked at INR 40,700/t exw.
