SAIL conducted an auction today for 8,000 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 37,200/t exw, sources informed. Bid prices decreased by INR 3,325/t compared to the previous auction on 2 Nov at which 7,000 t of rails were booked at INR 40,525/t exw.
