In OMC’s auction for 1.15 mnt of iron ore fines (Fe 54-65%) on 20 Nov’24, the entire quantity was booked at INR 3,050-5,600/t. The bids fetched premium of INR 50-600/t against the set base price. However, bids (weighted avg) decreased around INR 300/t against last month’s auction owing to fall in pellet prices.
