At Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome auction today, the bigger lot of 10-150 mm got sold for INR 106,600/t exw, nearly matching the base price of INR 106,500/t. Bid prices dropped by INR 1,500/t compared to the 15 Jul’24 auction. This decline is likely due to pressure from the ferro chrome market-lower bids in OMC’s chrome ore auction and decreased Chinese tender prices.
