Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) conducted two auctions for a total of 170,500 t of coking coal on 3 Sept and 5 Sept’22. Almost 99% of the offered quantity in the auctions was booked at an average price realisation of INR 8,327/t while the average bid premium over the notified price was 120%. The bid premium fell compared to 136% in August.
