Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India, conducted auctions for a total of 600,450 t of coal on 17-18 Aug’22. The average price realisation was INR 7197/t while the bid premium was 326% over the notified price. The bid premium decreased from 462% in the June auction due to limited demand during the monsoon season.
