Bhagyalaxmi Rolling Mill Pvt Ltd (Polaad TMT), one of the leading rebar mills in Maharashtra’s Jalna, has lowered rebar offers by INR 700/t ($10). Current offers for 10-25 mm rebar stand at INR 48,000/t, exw. Lack of demand for rebar in the spot market, higher inventories at mills and lower billet prices have led to the manufacturer reducing offers, sources told SteelMint. The company has a rebar production capacity of around 2,000 t per day.
