India: Bellary sponge iron trade improves on lower offers

Sponge iron, C-DRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary declined by INR 150/t, However, sponge iron, P-DRI, prices continued to stay flat in today’s trade, as per SteelMint assessment.

• Around 5,700 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 26,500-26,600/t against offers at INR 26,800/t exw.
• SteelMint’s assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 28,200-28,300/t ($373-375/t) and around 500 t of deals were reported.
