Sponge iron prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 100/t on 2 Aug’21, as per reports. Mill owners continue to keep prices firm due to sufficient orders in hand.
- Around 2,100 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 29,200-29,400/t against offers at INR 29,500/t exw.
- Offers for C-DRI stand at INR 30,500-30,700/t ($412).
- Around 1,400 t of deals were reported.
