India: Bellary sponge iron offers up in fresh deals

Sponge C-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose marginally by INR 50/t on 13 Aug’21. However, sponge P-DRI prices continued to stay flat in today’s trade, as per SteelMint reports.

• Around 3,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 29,500-29,600/t against offers at INR 29,800/t exw. The supply of material was majorly for the Hindupur and Hyderabad markets, including western India.
• C-DRI offers were at INR 31,200-31,300/t ($420-422/t). Around 800 t of deals were reported at INR 31,100-31,200/t exw.
