Sponge iron prices in Karnataka’s Bellary remained unaltered on 6 Jul’21. Manufacturers kept prices firm on account of only a few orders in hand for the coming couple of weeks.
- SteelMint confirmed about 3,700 t of P-DRI deals at INR 27,000-27,200/t for neighbouring markets, as against offers at INR 27,400/t exw Bellary.
- About 500 t of C-DRI deals were confirmed. A few bids were reported at INR 27,700/t, while offers stood at INR 27,900/t ($375) exw-Bellary.
