India: Bellary sponge iron offers stable on subdued demand

Sponge iron prices in Karnataka’s Bellary remain unaltered on 24 Sep’21. C-DRI price stands at INR 30,400/t ($412).

• 1,100 t of C-DRI deals have been reported. A few bids have been reported at around INR 30,300/t exw.
• 2,600 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 29,600-29,700/t against offers at INR 29,800/t, exw for Hindupur region.
• Subdued demand forced producers to keep offers stable.
