Sponge iron prices in Bellary have fell by INR 200-250/t in today’s trade.
Current offers for sponge C-DRI stand at INR 29,200-29,300/t ($393), down by INR 250/t d-o-d. A few bids have been reported at around INR 29,000-29,100/t, exw-Bellary. While no major deals reported by local manufacturers
Meanwhile, about 1,100 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 27,300-27,400/t against offers at INR 27,500-27,600/t, exw.
Further, market sources shared that prices fell due to limited inquiries from the neighbouring regions owing to monsoon season.
