Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary dropped by INR 450/t, while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices fell by INR 350/t on 17 Mar’22.
- About 1,600 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 38,000-38,300/t exw.
- 2,500 t of CDRI deals were reported at INR 38,700-38,800/t ($510-512/t) exw.
- Prices fell as most of the participants were inactive today amidst festive mood.
