India: Bellary sponge iron market sees healthy bookings at low offers

Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices in Bellary moved down by INR 300/t exw while CDRI prices declined by INR 100/t on 23 Sept.

• 6,200 t PDRI deals were concluded at INR 31,000-31,200/t exw against offers at INR 31,400/t exw.
• 4,000 t CDRI deals were confirmed between INR 32,200-32,400/t exw.
• Sponge iron trade volumes increased d-o-d as buyers made plenty of bookings at lower offers.
