SteelMint’s assessment for Bellary iron ore pellet (Fe 63%) currently stands at INR 12,500/t exw, lower by INR 200/t compared to the assessment on 13 Jul’21. Lower bids may result in a further decline in prices, trade sources informed.
- A confirmed trade for 2,000 t of pellets was concluded at INR 12,500/t exw.
- NMDC is heard to have sold around 8,000-9,000 t pellets (Fe 63.5%) at INR 11,800/t FOT Donimalai plant to Gujarat-based buyers recently.
- SteelMint’s assessment for P-DRI in Bellary has fallen to INR 28,500/t as against INR 28,600/t exw on 13 Jul.
