Bellary iron ore pellet (Fe 63%) prices increased to INR 9,800-10,000/t as against INR 9,500-9,600t assessed on 7 Dec. Prices increased on a rebound in sponge iron offers and firm finished steel prices.
- Confirmed deals for 25,000 t were recorded at around INR 9,500-9,900/t exw.
- Pellet-based sponge iron, P-DRI, prices picked up to INR 27,800/t exw against INR 26,600/t on 7 Dec.
