SteelMint’s assessment for iron ore pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary increased to INR 10,350/t today against INR 9,900/t on 10 Dec. Prices increased on rising sponge iron offers and increased trading in finished steel.
- Confirmed deals for 15,000 t were recorded in this publishing window at around INR 10,100-10,300/t exw.
- Pellet-based sponge iron, P-DRI, prices inched up to INR 29,000/t exw against INR 27,800/t on 10 Dec.
